Hi, I'm Justin, founder of Yancey Farm. We're a new type of company that cares deeply about the world and the people in it. I'm focused on using innovative technology to solve real-world problems.

My background is unusual, to say the least. As a South African expat and biologist by training, I spent a decade in healthcare building molecular diagnostic labs. I'm a thinker, tinkerer, and someone passionate about cultivating sustainable success with my community in rural America.

From an early age, I've been fascinated by automation. Whether attempting to build a writing machine to do my schoolwork or scaling up COVID testing labs to meet pandemic demands, I excel at using technology to enhance human productivity and accuracy. This allows people to focus on what they do best: connecting with one another.

Yancey Farm is both a real working farm and our R&D laboratory. We cultivate organic food through regenerative agricultural practices while leveraging automation to make farming easier, safer, and more environmentally sustainable.
